Move-In and Move-Out Cleaning — London and the Surrounding Areas
This is a not a regular office tidy. Cleaning a space after a move is a job with a different purpose: getting the space either ready for opening or for handing back. Leaving it wrong at either end will hurt your deposit. Leaving it wrong at the other end will have your staff walking into a building site on their first day. Returning a space
When a lease is up, the space needs to be returned to the landlord in the original condition it was received. Regular cleans will not cut it after years of use, especially after an eviction. Marks left by long standing furniture, cupboards, kitchens, and restrooms will all need attention. We handle all of it, so the space can stand up to a dilapidation inspection. That inspection is the reason your returnable deposit is impacted.
Preparing the workspace
The initial cleaning is important for both brand new and recently vacated spaces. Newly fitted spaces get plaster dust, paint, and construction debris into new surfaces and flooring in what is referred to as trade clean. This is a post-fit-out trade clean and should only be done once the trades have completed their work. It is recommended that a clean specifically meant for this purpose also be done to protect the work surfaces.
Moving into an existing space is actually a deep clean of the space. The carpets, upholstered furniture, washrooms, kitchens, and all the work surfaces should be clean and free of any contaminants for the first person who is allowed to sit in the space. In both cases the goal is to have the first day in the space feel like a fresh start.
